Squiglet vs Keepy: kids' artwork apps compared
Two apps for keeping and sharing kids' art. One is built around stories and voices; the other around tidy scans, a family library and things to hold.
The short version
Two apps, two strengths
Keepy is an app for saving a child's artwork and moments, known for letting you record voice or video stories about each memory and for inviting family to follow along.
Squiglet concentrates on getting the artwork itself right: automatic scanning that straightens and tidies each picture, a private family library with a timeline for every child, untouched originals, and a photo book designer plus prints and phone cases.
If recording your child explaining the picture is the thing you want most, Keepy is built for it. If you want a well-scanned, well-organised library and keepsakes to hold, Squiglet is.

Squiglet and Keepy questions
Can I move from Keepy to Squiglet?
You can add pictures to Squiglet from your phone or camera roll. If you still have the original photos, add those; if you only have what is in Keepy, save the pictures to your phone first.
Does Squiglet have voice or video notes?
Not currently. You can add a title and a written note to every picture, which many families use for their child's own words.
Which is cheaper?
Both are free to start. Keepy's Unlimited subscription is priced in the app store; Squiglet's free library holds 100 pieces and a Premium plan will be announced before launch.
